都近村位于朗塘镇，属镇下辖的行政村，为镇乡结合区[1]。该村大约在明朝正德十二年（1517年）开始立村，当时归泷水县一都管辖[2]。2019年9月，都近村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代设都近村，归罗定州一都的开阳乡管辖。1910年至1931年间设都近堡，下辖7个自然村，属罗定县第二区。1961年6月，都近生产大队设立，改归䓣塘公社。1996年，都近从䓣塘管理区析出，单设都近管理区；1998年9月管理区撤销，改设都近村民委员会，沿用至今。[3]
