石碑村属朗塘镇，是镇下辖的行政村，兼具镇与乡的管理特点，属镇乡结合区[1]。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把石碑村列为2021年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建单位[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明朝此地归泷水县一都一图，清朝归罗定州一都的开阳乡。1910年至1931年间属罗定县第二区。1961年6月设石碑生产大队，改归䓣塘公社。1996年，石碑从䓣塘管理区析出，单设石碑管理区；1998年9月管理区撤销，改设石碑村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
