北羌村位于朗塘镇，属罗定市，又写作北姜村[1]。该村在元顺帝至元六年（1340年）有人落户立村，明初沿用旧制，隶属关系没有变动[1][3]。2019年9月，北羌村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1577年（万历五年）至1909年间，此地称北羌村，归罗定州一都的开阳乡管辖。1910年至1931年，改为北羌堡，划入罗定县第二区。1961年另设北羌生产大队，改归䓣塘公社；1983年8月，大队撤销，改设北羌乡；1986年11月，乡撤销，建立北羌村民委员会；1989年5月设北羌管理区；1998年9月，管理区撤销，又设北羌村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
