谋平村是广东省云浮市罗定市船步镇的一个行政村。村境内有茅坪山，清初曾设茅坪村；因「茅坪」与「谋平」方言读音相近，村名沿用了「谋平」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

约于明天启六年（1626年）立村，隶属罗定州一都。清代又设茅坪村，属罗定州一都开阳乡；清末至1931年间，此地设谋平堡，归罗定县第二区船步团管辖。[2]

1959年11月设谋平生产大队，1983年8月改设乡，1986年11月复为村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1998年再次确立村委会，隶属罗定市船步镇，沿用至今。[2]
