船东村是广东省云浮市罗定市船步镇的一个行政村，村委会设在船步圩的东面，村名由此而来。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明成化十年前后，已有人迁居此地建村，当时隶属泷水县一都；清代改属罗定州一都开阳乡。宣统二年至民国二十年间（1910年至1931年），村属罗定县第二区船步团。[2]

1974年曾设船东生产大队；1983年改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年又设管理区，1998年重新确立为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]

1993年被评定为革命老区。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

石碑岗村的大社公社坛原称「对塘社」，俗称「大社公」，设在高出田野两三米的岗丘上，古榕下设坛，有两条石望柱。据博雅地名网所载，它是明清以来罗定最大的社坛，于2011年2月14日被列为第四批罗定市文物保护单位。[4]
