船步镇是广东省云浮市罗定市的一个镇，位于罗定市东南部，地处镜船盆地东侧，南面与阳春、信宜两市接壤。镇域以农业为主，东南部的八排山是境内主要的山岳景观。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

据记载，秦朝平定南越后设南海郡，所属开阳县的治所便在今船步镇一带。[3]

唐代的泷州于天宝元年（742年）改称开阳郡，乾元元年（758年）又恢复旧称；船步历史上两度作县城或郡邑，合计约430年。[4]

清光绪年间本地称开阳。后因围底河水量少，木船只能行至此处，故以「船步」为名。[1]

宋代开宝六年至明代万历四年，这里归泷水县管辖；万历五年起改隶罗定州，直至清末。民国时属罗定县的一都二区。[3]

1950年此地属罗定县第三区；1958年组建船步人民公社，1983年8月改为船步区，1986年11月撤区后设镇。[3]

2003年经广东省批准为中心镇；2014年7月获国家住房城乡建设部门及相关部委确定为全国重点镇；2024年1月，云浮市卫生健康局命名船步为「2023年云浮市卫生镇」。[2][1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域东南部的八排山由八座山峰组成，主峰海拔1080.5米，是罗定市东南部最高的山脉。[5][7]

镇内塘河、龙岗河、沙河三河交汇，水力资源丰富。[2]

人口与物产[edit]

据百度百科，2022年末船步镇户籍人口为88071人。[4]

船步盛产稻谷、蔬菜、蚕桑、三黄鸡、花生和豆类，豆豉与豆腐为当地特色食品。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

八排山一带有高山草甸，春季野生杜鹃盛开，被称为「广东香格里拉」。山顶设有1992年立的罗定、阳春、信宜三市界碑。[6][7]

炉埇村有罗定永兴庵和炉埇司马第，同村的炉埇黎氏宗祠亦为文物；东园村有东园石拱桥；东水坑村有东水坑反虹吸管；旧县村有开阳县儒学遗址；石碑岗村有大社公社坛；簕渣自然村有簕渣冶铁遗址；铁炉村则有冶铁遗址。[8][9][17][10][11][13][14][15][12]

山垌水库在山垌村境内，1964年8月开工，1969年10月投入运行，集雨面积47.2平方千米，库容为1630万立方米，管理单位是罗定市水务局。[16]
