黄牛木村位于罗定市罗平镇。明代属泷水县五都，清代归罗定州五都永阜乡。村内有张氏贤良书院，大榄塘自然村有大榄塘村三进士墓。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

村地历史上先属泷水县五都，后归罗定州的永阜乡；清末至民国，归罗定县第六区的围底团与榃感乡，1942年起归第二区的榃感乡。[1]

1950年起隶属第四区榃感乡，1958年先组入罗平乡榃感合作社，同年9月归东风公社。1974年7月调整设立黄牛木生产大队，归罗平公社。[1]

1983年改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会。[1]

名人与古迹[edit]

张氏贤良书院为四合院式的青砖瓦木结构建筑，今为罗定市文物保护单位，创办人为张贤良。[4]

大榄塘自然村的大榄塘村三进士墓为明代土堆墓，张广扬、张昌、张澜三墓并排。张广扬于明洪武二十四年（1391年）中进士，曾任中军都督府经历；其父张昌于明永乐二年（1404年）中进士，曾任弋阳知县；张澜于明成化二十三年（1487年）中进士。2011年2月14日被列为罗定市第四批文物保护单位。[3]
