塘屋村位于罗定市罗平镇。村委会设在塘屋村，村名由此而来。原行政村驻地名为唐屋村，1963年改用塘屋为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
约于清康熙五十四年（1715年）落户建村，此地当时归罗定州一都的开阳乡。[2]
清末至民国，村地归罗定县第二区的团，之后归第二区与第三区的乡。1950年起属第四区的乡，1958年先组入乡片合作社，同年9月隶属东风公社的一个大队。1961年6月设塘屋生产大队，随公社并入罗平公社。[2]
1983年8月撤大队改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]
