营下村位于罗定市罗平镇，约于明嘉靖二十年（1541年）落户建村，隶属泷水县一都。辖区内有陈璘陂遗址。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，村地归罗定州一都的开阳乡管辖。清末宣统二年至民国20年间（1910年至1931年）设营下堡，辖6个自然村，归罗定县第二区的团。[2]

其后至1941年间属第二区的乡，1942年起属第三区的乡；1950年起隶属第四区的乡。1958年9月隶属东风公社的一个大队，1961年6月另设营下生产大队，后随公社并入罗平公社。[2]

1983年8月撤大队改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]
