泗盆村位于罗定市罗平镇古榄河畔。村名原拟用「四墩」，因村中原有四个岗墩，建村时以「盆」代「墩」，取盆能盛水、寓意聚财之意，定名泗盆。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

约于明万历十三年（1585年）落户建村，属罗定州四都建水乡。清代设泗盆村，同隶建水乡。[2]

民国时期，村地归罗定县第五区罗平团西堡、第四区，1942年起归第二区罗平乡。1950年5月起改隶第四区西北乡，1958年先并入罗平合作社，同年9月起属东风公社罗平乡的一个营。1961年6月设泗盆生产大队，归罗平公社。[2]

1983年设泗盆乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]

2022年10月，省农业农村厅把本村认定为「2022年广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」，产品为蚕桑。2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]

泗盆西侧的古榄是泷江的河滩码头，位于水流由急转缓之处，小船与大船在此驳接，历来较为繁荣。[3]
