湴塘村位于罗定市罗平镇。清康熙二年（1663年）设湴塘村，隶属罗定州四都建水乡。2021年12月，村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代初年此地属泷水县四都。明万历五年（1577年）至清康熙二年（1663年），隶属罗定州四都建水乡；清康熙二年（1663年）起设湴塘村，直至宣统元年（1909年）。[2]

民国时期，村地先后归罗定县第五区罗平团西堡、第四区管辖，1942年起归第二区罗平乡。1950年5月起改隶第四区西北乡；1958年先并入罗平合作社，同年9月起属东风公社的一个大队。1961年6月，由该大队分出，另设湴塘大队。[2]

1983年撤大队并入乡，1986年11月复设村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会。[2]
