罗周围村位于罗定市罗平镇。村委会设在罗周围，村名由此而来。清朝时已有罗周围村，归罗定直隶州四都的建水乡管辖。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1910年至1931年，村地属罗定县第五区罗平团北堡；此后经第四区，1942年起归第二区罗平乡。1950年5月起隶属第四区东北（平围）乡；1958年并入罗平合作社，同年划归东风公社围头营。自1961年6月至1974年6月，村地并入罗平公社某生产大队，1974年7月另设罗周围生产大队。[2]

1983年撤大队改设罗周围乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]
