古莲冲村位于罗定市罗平镇。约于明洪武二十九年（1396年）有人落户建村，当时隶属泷水县四都。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武二十九年（1396年）前后，有人来此落户建村，当时属泷水县四都。清代，此地划在四都建水乡内。[2]

晚清至民国，本村先后归罗定县第五区、第四区管辖，1942年改归第二区的罗平乡。[2]新中国成立后，1958年先组入罗平合作社，同年划入东风公社；1961年6月，村内单独设立生产大队。

1983年撤大队改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]
