罗星村位于分界镇境内，是一个村庄。村名的来历是：1974年设立行政村时，取「罗」字作名首，再取源靖的「靖」字合成村名；后经村民合议，因「靖」与「星」方言音近，定名为罗星，并经县政府批准设立[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1910年至1949年间，村地属罗定县第三区分界乡的大塘堡（保）[2]。

1950年5月属第一区的分界乡。1952年，罗磨山区与大塘村的部分地区调整组合，设为罗塘乡，隶属第一区。1958年2至8月为分界乡罗塘合作社；同年9月划归罗镜公社分界片，成为罗塘生产大队[2]。

1961年6月，罗塘大队被撤销，原地分设为若干生产大队，归分界公社。1974年7月，又设罗星生产大队，仍属分界公社。1983年8月，大队改设罗星乡，归分界区[2]。

1986年，乡制取消，改设罗星村民委员会，隶属分界镇；1989年5月改为罗星管理区。1998年9月管理区撤销，经罗定市人民政府批准设立罗星村委会，沿用至今[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，罗星村列为2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
