金垌村位于分界镇境内，是一个村庄。该村原为甘河乡下的一个片村，1961年6月分出后改以「金」字冠名，村委会设在本村，村名由此而来[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村庄约建于清乾隆五十一年（1787年）间，隶罗定州二都顺仁乡。1910年至1931年，村地属罗定县第三区分界团下的一个堡；1931年至1941年，以及1942年至1950年，村地隶第三区分界乡[2]。

中华人民共和国成立后，1950年5月起属第一区的分界乡；1952年另设一乡，隶第一区，1956年该乡并入分界乡。1958年2至8月为分界乡分界合作社的一部分，同年9月归罗镜公社管辖。1961年6月从原大队分出，设金垌生产大队，归分界公社[2]。

1983年8月，大队改设金垌乡，归分界区。1986年11月乡制撤销，改设金垌村民委员会；1989年5月改为金垌管理区。1998年9月管理区撤销，经罗定市人民政府批准设立金垌村委会，此后沿用此名[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

石角村的垠头坑有一处沤蓝制靛工场遗址，年代为明至民国。它是罗定市（县）级文物保护单位，在第五批名录中公布，保护范围以靛池本体为界[1]。
