云龙村位于罗镜镇，村址在三叉、黄坡两列山脉之间，云雾缭绕，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

约清康熙三十九年（1700年）落户建村，属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区罗镜团同安堡，1931年至1941年隶属第三区镜南乡，1942年至1950年隶属罗镜乡。1950年后归罗定县第一区，1958年后归罗镜公社。1961年6月组成云龙生产大队，1983年8月改为云龙乡，1986年11月乡制撤销，改为村民委员会，1998年9月管理区改称云龙村民委员会。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

罗氏始祖天源于1700年由太平一带迁到本村落户，形成最早的村落。1717年，陈氏始祖善泰自素龙一带迁入。村中现有李、林、彭、张、黄、谢、刘等姓，陈姓为大姓。[2]
