历史沿革[edit]
清初属罗定州二都顺仁乡，清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区罗镜团。1938年设镜南乡，隶属第三区；1942年至1950年归罗镜乡。1958年2月至8月设镜南大乡，同年9月起隶属罗镜公社。1961年6月组成镜南生产大队，1983年8月改为镜南乡，1986年11月乡制撤销，改为镜南村民委员会。1998年9月，管理区改为镜南村民委员会，经罗定市人民政府批准沿用至今。[2]
姓氏宗族[edit]
陈氏始祖献武于清初自围底镇迁来，落户二间陈村。彭氏始祖文光于明朝末年自太平一带迁到二间彭村。村中现有陈、黄、彭、谢、林、李等姓。[2]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，镜南村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
