历史沿革[edit]
清康熙年间有人家在此落户建村，初属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国初年设大平岗堡，归罗定县第三区罗镜团管辖。此后又经数次隶属变动，1950年后归罗定县第一区。1958年起归罗镜公社，1974年7月另立大平岗生产大队；1983年8月改设大平岗乡，1986年11月乡制取消，改为村民委员会，1998年9月管理区改称大平岗村民委员会。[2]
