历史沿革[edit]
南朝梁陈年间（535年至546年）设村，属泷州龙乡县。隋唐至元明期间几经改隶，明万历五年属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区罗镜团佛子堡，1932年至1937年设驸台乡，此后归第三区镜北乡，1942年至1950年隶属罗镜乡。1950年后归罗定县第一区，1958年9月设驸台生产大队。1983年8月撤大队设驸台乡，1986年11月撤乡后改为村民委员会，1998年9月管理区改设驸台村民委员会。[2]
姓氏宗族[edit]
陈氏始祖在大同年间（535年至546年）到驸台落户，形成本村最早的村落。李氏始祖元富于1769年自围底镇迁入驸台，今李姓为大姓。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
翁氏牌坊位于牌坊村，清道光十八年（1838年）为旌表节妇翁氏而建，坐西向东，四柱三间三楼，以灰塑彩凤、人物与山水图案见长。明楼正面有“圣旨”匾额，背面有“旌表”匾额。1985年公布为「罗定县第一批文物保护单位」，2019年4月19日公布为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[3][4][5]
