石淇湾村位于罗镜镇，村庄坐落在泷水河的一处河湾旁，村名由境内红石山的旧称而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
约清中叶落户建村，当时属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区，1932年至1941年归第三区管辖，1942年至1950年隶属罗镜乡。1958年，村中分属罗镜、镜南两乡组建的合作社。1961年6月设石淇湾生产大队，1983年8月撤大队设石淇湾乡。1986年11月撤乡后改为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1998年9月起由管理区改设石淇湾村民委员会。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村庄座落在泷水河的一个河湾处，境内有一座红石山，原称石皮湾，后改称石淇湾。村委会设在本村，故以村名称之。[1]
姓氏宗族[edit]
刘氏始祖接原于1654年自福建宁化迁往南雄珠玑巷，后落户石淇湾。陈氏始祖陈豪于1683年由福建迁往南雄珠玑巷，再迁罗定州城西，不久迁入石淇湾建村。[2]
