历史沿革[edit]
约清康熙三十五年（1697年）落户建村，属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区罗镜团，此后归第三区管辖。1961年6月组成镜坡生产大队，1983年8月改为镜坡乡，1986年11月乡制取消，改为村民委员会，1998年9月管理区改称镜坡村民委员会。[2]
姓氏宗族[edit]
蒋氏始祖成第于1697年由罗定附城一带迁入镜坡。陈、梁二氏始祖于1757年同时自素龙迁到本村。[2]
文化[edit]
村名来自村委会所在之处：村子位于罗镜河边一片开阔平坦的地方，故名。[1]
2019年9月，镜坡村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。2021年9月，入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产品为辣椒。2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2022年1月，确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。2026年1月，获评第二批广东省「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
