历史沿革[edit]
约明弘治十年（1497年）落户建村，当时属泷水县二都；清代隶属罗定州二都顺仁乡。民国时期经多次设乡、分合，1938年设镜西乡。1961年6月设镜西生产大队，1983年8月撤大队设镜西乡，1986年11月撤乡后改为村民委员会。1998年9月，管理区改为镜西村民委员会。1993年划为革命老区。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
石龙塘叶氏大屋位于石龙塘村，为清代建筑，坐北向南，深四进，前有大片地堂，屋外为水塘。[3]
