白荷村是罗定市双东街道下辖的行政村，清代曾称白鹤寨村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代称白鹤寨村，隶属罗定州，后改名白荷寨。[2]民国元年（1912）起属罗定县第五区，1950年改属第十区。[2]1958年公社化时成立白荷大队，隶罗城公社，1959年11月改属大湾公社，1962年归双东公社，1963年2月隶附城公社，1964年再归双东公社。[2]1983年撤大队改乡，归双东区；1986年撤乡改设村委会，1989年5月又改为管理区。[2]1994年6月起隶双东街道，1998年5月恢复村委会名称，即白荷村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2015年3月，白荷村被司法部、民政部表彰为「第六批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]2023年4月，白荷村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]2026年1月，白荷村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
