历史沿革[edit]
林氏始祖迁到此地立村，之后黄、李等姓相继迁入。现村中有林、黄、李、王、卢、赵、卓、杜、欧9姓，林姓约占43%。[2]
明代立村，原称龙税，隶属泷水县；1911年划归罗定州；解放后初期划入生冮乡，1956年改归第九区；1958年改设龙税大队，归罗城公社辖；1983年撤大队改设乡，1998年恢复村委会建制，隶素龙街道。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
古城角城址在古城角村，为唐代永宁（建水）县城址，唐天宝年间修筑，宋开宝年间废弃；现存西城墙约50米、残高3米。罗定市第二批文物保护单位，于1994年6月8日公布。[3]
