凤西村为罗定市素龙街道的一个行政村，村委会设在凤山庙以西，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
凤西村于1522年建村，称凤西，属泷水县；1911年划归罗定州，1912年至1949年属罗定县第五区、第二区。[2]
村中的凤阳村羊塘头是一处古村落，明清时被列为罗定州的五大名村之一，村中泽汇路曾是官府递送文书的驿站。1914年，本地青年陈雨亭曾发动甲寅反袁起义；1926年7月，罗定县第五区农民协会在此成立；1941年7月，一架日本运输机因机件故障迫降于此。[4]
非物质文化遗产[edit]
2014年，凤阳宗祠祭典被列入「广东省第五批非物质文化遗产名录」。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
凤阳陈氏宗祠在凤阳村羊塘头，清嘉庆二年（1797年）建，同治八年（1869年）重修，三间两廊院落式，属罗定市第四批文物保护单位；罗定市政府网站所载的建造年份为嘉庆三年（1798年）。[1][3][4]
凤阳村老井为明代所建，明知县陈宾夫妇墓在凤阳村，清光绪十一年（1885年）建，两者均属第五批罗定市（县）级文物保护单位。[1]
