河塱村的村名来自一次洪灾之后的地貌变化。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清康熙52年（1713年），洞中一带原有水田10余亩，被洪水冲毁。高处沙石堆积成荒地，低处积水成湖，芦苇丛生，地名由此称河塱，又称塱溪。[1]
