上桥村是连滩镇下辖的一个行政村，属村庄类型。村背有一座木桥，行政村设立时便以此取名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设上桥生产大队，1983年改为上桥乡，1987年改为上桥村民委员会，1989年称管理区公所，1999年复为村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子的天塘山上有天池庵，始建于清顺治十八年（1661年），是省级重点寺院。[2]
