历史沿革[edit]
民国时期（1912年至1949年）这里属连滩镇。思和生产大队于1958年成立，1961年归连滩人民公社管辖。1983年改设思和乡人民政府，1987年改为思和村民委员会，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年复称村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
文广庙在德珠线公路旁，为纪念北宋名将杨文广而建。庙宇始建于北宋绍圣四年（1097年）。明崇祯五年（1632年）重建时，庙名为杨公祖庙；之后于清乾隆年间修葺，并定名为文广庙。1995年再次修缮。[2]

2020年12月，思和村获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
