历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间，蔡、余、刘、林等姓氏先后迁入。现有蔡、余、刘、林、曾等十余个姓氏，其中最大的蔡、刘、余三姓占80%。[2]
此前属云浮县第七区；1961年并入郁南县，成为东坝人民公社的虎岩生产大队。1983年虎岩乡人民政府成立；1987年起以村民委员会为建制，1989年为管理区，1999年又复为村委会。村委驻地未曾迁移。[1][2]
村内有43个村民小组、4个自然村，农业以种植水稻和桑、蚕为主。[3]
