佛子坝村是河口镇的行政村。昔日谢、张、苏、万、黄等姓陆续迁来定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年前后此地设佛子坝生产大队；1983年公社撤销后称佛子坝乡；1987年起设村民委员会，1989年一度改为管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村民委员会的名称。[1][2]

村境内登记有古文化遗址7处，均未定级，包括老虎头遗址、猪腰山遗址、盘古山遗址等。[3]
