卫星村是郁南县大湾镇下辖的行政村。村名是大跃进年代改定的，此后沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属保和都。民国时期先为十一区的大湾乡，之后改称塔安乡；建国后归五区。大跃进期间改名为卫星，并设卫星生产大队。1983年改设乡人民政府，1987年又改为村委会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年再次称村委会。[1][2]

明万历四年，梁氏始祖从番禺区沙湾镇迁来；万历年间，王氏始祖从福建漳州府南靖一带迁入；清初另有一支王氏从罗定双东镇迁入。现有梁、王2个姓，王姓最多，约占68%。[1]

荣誉[edit]

卫星村于2024年3月获命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
