历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地先为下濂乡下的保甲，后归大湾乡。清代属保和都。建国初归五区；1958年成立榃蓬生产大队；1983年设为乡级的人民政府，1987年复为村委会，1989年起设管理区办事处，1999年又称村委会。[3]
明朝年间，张氏始祖廉公从福建南靖迁入；焦氏始祖于1495年自中山市迁入；侯氏于1726年由罗定的罗城镇迁入。全村共9个姓，依次为张、焦、侯、王、谢、陈、肖、邓、李，人数最多的是王姓，约占30%。[3]
农业[edit]
村内以种植水稻、花生、木薯为主，并产荔枝、龙眼等水果，养殖则有肉鸡和鱼类。[2]
荣誉[edit]
广东省爱卫会于2021年12月授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，榃蓬村获此称号。[1]
2023年5月，榃蓬村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
榃蓬村于2024年3月获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1]
