历史沿革[edit]

建行政村时，取团结联合、平安幸福之意定名联平。[1]

明清时期，袁氏先祖论柱公从罗定贵子塘迁到此地定居，村内现有袁、黄、邱、伍、李、梁等姓。[1]

1958年11月之前村内共有四个生产大队，1959年并为联平生产大队；1985年设联平乡人民政府，1990年为联平管理区办事处，1998年起称联平村民委员会。[2]

2003年两镇合并，联平村改属千官镇。[2]
