旺玖村位于千官镇境内。2019年9月，旺玖村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1600年，梁氏先人发安公自罗定潭井来到此地，村内现有钱、梁、陈、张、赖等姓。[1]

1953年设旺玖乡，1958年划为旺玖生产大队，1983年改设乡人民政府，1987年定为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区办事处，1999年再次成为村民委员会。[2]

2003年两镇合并后，旺玖村改隶千官镇。[2]
