云霄村位于千官镇境内，村中吴、彭、黄等姓的先人多来自外地。长秋村属云霄村，2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：建行政村时，因祖先从福建省云霄县迁来，遂以云霄为名。据载，吴氏始祖吴木波于1604年自福建云霄县迁入，村内现有吴、彭、黄、伍、杨、黎、莫、胡等姓。[1]
1983年成为云霄乡政府，1987年为云霄村民委员会，1989年曾设为管理区办事处，1992年又恢复村民委员会的名称。1987年起隶属千官镇人民政府。[2]
2019年9月，云霄村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
