石大村位于千官镇境内，村名由两个片区合并时取定。2019年9月，石大村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建行政村时，由两个片区合并而成，村名定为石大。[1]

陈氏始祖陈耀公于1915年从云安县白石镇迁入，村内现有陈、何、钟、邝、张、谢等姓。[1]

解放初称石大行政村；1958年成为石大生产大队；1983年变为石大乡政府；1987年设石大村民委员会；1989年又改成管理区办事处；1999年4月恢复村民委员会建制。[2]

1949年村委驻地设在塘基头，1975年迁至岭头，1993年起驻石头铺。[2]
