庞寨村是宝珠镇的一个村庄，明代已有人在此建村，此后陆续有姓氏迁入。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代归太平都管辖，民国年间并入连城乡。[2]新中国成立后经历多次改制：1950年起归郁南县第二区，后又划入建城区，1957年归宝珠乡管辖。[2]1958年村里组成东方红人民公社的庞寨大队，此后随公社改制转入宝珠人民公社。[2]80年代前期另设宝珠区庞寨乡的政府，1987年改为宝珠乡下的庞寨村民委员会，1989年一度成为管理区办事处，直到1999年定名为宝珠镇庞寨村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
2016年7月，庞寨村经农业部认定，成为「第六批全国一村一品示范村镇」之一，对应产品为庞寨黑叶荔枝。[1]2020年8月，省农业农村厅把本村（荔枝）列入「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]2024年4月，本村入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
