百贤村的村名取自建立行政村时“多出贤士能人”的寓意。2026年1月，该村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，百贤村属西宁县。新中国成立后设为三区百贤行政村，1950年划入郁南县第三区；1955年归建城区管辖，1957年并入通门乡。1958年成为东方红人民公社与通门人民公社下的生产大队，1968年由通门人民公社革委会管理。1980年代起先后改设乡人民政府、村委会和管理区，1993年起属通门镇人民政府，1999年复称百贤村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，百贤村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
