街坊村在通门圩街一带，村委会驻于圩街之内，村名由此而来。村中现有张、陆、徐、陈、邓等十余个姓氏。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，街坊村是四宁乡公所所在地。解放后划入郁南县第三区，此后数次改设，1958年为东方红人民公社与通门人民公社下的生产大队。1980年代经通门区公所、通门乡人民政府等机构变更，1989年起为管理区，1993年归通门镇人民政府管辖，1999年改称街坊村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，街坊村入选第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产业为肉桂。2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」。2022年6月，被命名为「第三批云浮市民主法治示范村（社区）」。2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
