罗顺村位于桂圩镇，村名来自早年最先迁来定居的一位先人。相传他名叫罗交尖，乡人盼望安居顺利，便以“罗顺”为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时罗顺属峡口乡。1950年隶属郁南县第一区，称罗顺行政村；1953年建罗顺乡，1955年归桂圩区，1957年并入桂圩乡。[1]

1958年成为罗顺生产大队，1968年归罗顺人民公社革命委员会；1983年设罗顺乡人民政府，属罗顺区公所。1987年成为村委会，1989年一度为管理区，1993年划入罗顺镇，1999年称罗顺村民委员会，2003年归桂圩镇。[1]
