岗罗村位于桂圩镇，村名是1958年建行政村时，从驻地的栗子岗和罗田两个村各取一字组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时岗罗属桂河乡，建国时归龙峡乡。1950年隶属第一区，称桂水行政村；1953年成立桂水乡，1958年组建岗罗生产大队。[1]

1983年改设岗罗乡人民政府；1987年成为村委会，1989年一度为管理区，1999年复为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，岗罗村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
