桂圩镇在广东省云浮市郁南县西部，距县城都城镇约13公里，东邻建城镇，南接通门镇，北与平台镇交界，西与广西梧州市龙圩区广平镇相接。[1][3]

“桂圩”之名来自当地种植的油板桂，这种桂树皮厚、出油率高，产量大、品质好，交易逐渐形成集市，遂以“桂圩”为名。[2] 2003年9月，原罗顺镇与桂圩镇合并，仍称桂圩镇。[2] 镇内是郁南“四一八”武装起义的策源地，属抗日战争和解放战争时期的革命老区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，桂圩地区属红旗人民公社的一个管理区；1961年，红旗人民公社分出部分地方，与峡上乡合组为桂圩人民公社；1962年，峡上乡又从桂圩人民公社中分出。[2] 1983年改设桂圩区，1987年改为桂圩镇。[2]

郁南“四一八”武装起义发生于1948年4月18日，镇政府近年每逢4月18日组织纪念活动，2025年为起义七十七周年。[7][8]

2021年1月，桂圩镇被授予「2020年度广东省卫生城镇」荣誉称号。[2] 2023年10月，省卫生镇复审技术评估在镇内进行，桂圩镇顺利通过复审。[10]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属亚热带季风气候，降雨充沛，土壤肥沃。[3]

镇域面积有两种说法：博雅地名网记为104.3平方千米，百度百科记为166.9平方千米，两者均未注明年份。[1][2] 博雅地名网的概况提到2002年初编制的建设规划，其内容应属当时的情况。[3]

境内矿产有石英石、花岗石、钛矿和白泥矿。[3]

人口[edit]

2021年6月，博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，记桂圩镇人口为2.5万人。[2] 百度百科另记2018年总人口为3.87万人，两个数字的年份不同。[1]

经济[edit]

肉桂是镇内农户主要种植的作物之一。据镇政府2023年的报道，桂农每年春分前后采收肉桂，桂皮的收购价逐年上涨。[11]

镇政府2026年的报道提到，肉桂、黄皮和阳光玫瑰葡萄是镇内主要的农特产品，镇里的展销区里摆有这些产品。[9]

文化与名胜[edit]

中共三罗中心县委旧址在桂圩村龙岗村，原为村集体的织布厂，因位于石头山麓，中华人民共和国成立前一直是中共的地下工作站。[6] 旧址建于清朝同治年间，为广三路深二进的青砖瓦木结构。[6] 县人民政府把它定为第七批县级文物，2018年7月重新修缮布展后对外开放，同时挂牌为云浮市和郁南县的党史学习教育基地。[6]

李镇靖故居也在龙岗村，始建于清代末期，为五开间深一进的青砖瓦木结构民居，2017年列为县级文物保护单位。[4] 李镇靖（1920至1996年）1938年起在博罗、增城一带开展工作，担任中共罗浮山区委的武装部长与宣传部长，是“四一八”起义的主要领导者和参与者之一。[4]

李荣欣故居同在龙岗村，始建于清末，2017年被列为县级文物；2023年3月，修缮和布展的工作告竣。[5] 李荣欣1940年入党，1942年任桂圩镇镇长并组建镇自卫班，是“四一八”起义的重要领导人。[5]

龙岗田园综合体在龙岗村一带，是「国家3A级旅游景区」。区内保留有明万历年间的古村落、千年古樟树和百年相思树群，游览内容以红色研学和田园体验为主。[9]
