历史沿革[edit]
1878年，聂姓从德庆迁入，村民以聂、梁、莫、卢、张等姓为主。[1][2]
民国时此地属三乐乡，后属铜东乡，建国后为新河行政村辖。1983年改称在田乡，1987年改为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年改为在田村委会。[2]
地理环境[edit]
古新公路穿村而过，村子东北面与封开县平凤镇相邻。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，在田村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
