古丰村属都城镇，为行政村。建行政村时，村名取「封」字的谐音，因最早的村民从封川迁来建村，故定名「古丰」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
李氏先人在嘉靖年间由封川县谷圩迁来建村。现有李、陈、黄、谢、彭等十余个姓氏，以李姓为最多。[2]
1950年4月起村地属郁南县第一区，设行政村。1957年设古丰生产大队，此后经人民公社、乡和管理区等建制，1987年改设古丰村民委员会，1999年起沿用至今。[2]
