富窝村属都城镇，为行政村。村委会驻地建在山坡前的平地上，形状似窝，村民以为此地是富裕的聚居之所，村名由此而取。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
叶姓始祖于1593年自宋桂迁入，此后谢、严、高、黄、徐、欧、吴、覃、余、戚、刘等姓陆续迁入，现以黄、岑、聂、谢、欧姓为主。[2]
民国时属第四区白夏乡。1950年4月设富窝行政村，属郁南县第一区。此后经历人民公社、乡和管理区等建制，1987年改设富窝村民委员会，1999年起沿用至今。[2]
2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局将富窝村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；同年10月，富窝村的水稻被认定为「2022年广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村（水稻）」，认定方为广东省农业农村厅。[1]
