云龙村的名字取自云雾、中龙两个自然村名的首字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的开基在清顺治四年（1647年）：石、黄两姓先人自云浮迁到云雾一带定居立村。清初，练姓先人自兴宁迁来，在南禾、黎碧、上坑口、楠岭、大坑等地开村；钟姓先人自南雄珠玑巷迁至中间村、中四等地立村。[1][3]

清朝中后期，董姓先人自德庆迁入中一定居。民国初年，陈、张两姓自云浮迁来，赖姓迁入大河坝定居；曾、温、叶等姓则分别在中五等地落户。[1][3]

村中现有16个姓氏，其中钟姓约占村内人口20%，练姓约占11%，黄姓约占9%。[1][2]

1949年10月，村属第一区簕竹乡；1952年8月起改称云雾乡，隶属新兴县第一区。1955年8月至1958年10月，此地为南平区的云龙乡。[1][2]

1958年10月起归簕竹公社，设云龙大队，此建制持续至1983年11月。1983年11月起归簕竹区公所，1987年3月起属簕竹镇，1989年4月设云龙管理区，1999年2月改为云龙村民委员会。[1][3]
