非雷村的村名原为「思来村」。相传有仙女眷恋人间生活，飞到此处，后经客家话中同音字的替换，1981年定名为「非雷」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里最早的开村者，是道光三十年（1850年）先后到来的郑姓九福公与黄姓万仁公，两人分别落脚于石九和樟田。光绪四年（1878年），黄姓一支也来此开村；此后范、戴、刘、温、梁、陈、许等姓陆续迁入。[1][3]

现有9姓人家：郑、黄、范、戴、刘、温、梁、陈、许。郑姓人数最多，约占辖区总人口的51.7%。[1][3]

解放前此处为农会。1949年10月，村归新兴县第一区管辖，叫簕竹乡，直至1955年；1955年至1958年改隶南平区，仍称簕竹乡。1958年以后的一段时间，本村归入簕竹公社，成为非雷大队。[1][2]

1961年至1963年一度分为3个大队，1963年后又合并为非雷大队。1983年12月至1986年11月为簕竹区公所辖下的非雷乡；1986年11月起改设非雷管理区，隶簕竹镇，直至1999年2月；此后属簕竹镇，设非雷村民委员会。[1][2]
