朱所村是天堂镇下辖的行政村。村名的意思是朱姓人的住所，最先到此定居的是朱姓人家。[1]

民国时期任广东省省长的李耀汉出生于朱所村。[3]

荣誉[edit]

第二批国家森林乡村名单（2019年12月公布）中有朱所村。2020年12月，它进入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2021年8月，国家卫生健康委老龄司授予朱所村2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区的称号。2023年1月，第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）称号由司法部、民政部授予朱所村。[1]

2024年3月，朱所村获得2023年广东省卫生村称号；同年4月，它进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年起这里属五区内中乡，1955年改属天堂区内中乡。1958年11月，它归东风公社，设朱所大队；1961年划入内中公社，1963年返回天堂公社。1983年改称朱所乡，1986年11月设管理区，1999年改为朱所村民委员会。[2]
