地名由来[edit]
此地山清水秀，像是神仙洞府，初名“落洞”，后人改写为“洛洞”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年后，洛洞归属新兴县第四区里洞乡。1955年此地属公平区，名为洛洞乡。1958年2月归里洞乡人民委员会，同年11月隶属里洞人民公社，成为洛洞大队。1983年复称洛洞乡，隶属里洞区公所；1987年为里洞乡下的洛洞管理区；1993年随镇设洛洞管理区；1999年改为洛洞村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，洛洞村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。2019年9月，洛洞村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
