地名由来[edit]

村中河滩有一块大石，形如一只卧着的鹅，因此得名鹅石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年11月人民公社撤销后，此地属里洞区公所，设鹅石乡。1987年改称鹅石管理区，归里洞乡；1993年随镇设鹅石管理区；1999年改为鹅石村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，鹅石村以茶叶入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。[1]
